Maria Noble Valdez

Multi Media Journalist

Maria Noble Valdez is a graduate of University of California, San Diego, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Industries and Communication with a minor in Law and Society. While on a pre-law track, she gained a unique understanding in constitutional law, trademark and copyright law, surveillance capitalism, and the business of media. Having a passion for storytelling, Maria gained extensive hands-on experience in broadcast, print, and digital journalism throughout her academic career, including published work at the global radio show The World, NBC San Diego, and right here at NBC Palm Springs from her internship on ‘The Roggin Report.' Outside of the news and academic fields, Maria is an avid reader, a half-marathon runner, and a collector of fun facts—especially those about unique laws from around the world.
