For our latest @diningwiththedavids we headed to Seven Olive Modern Gastropub, tucked inside the @renaissanceesmeralda in Indian Wells, to taste our way through some of their favorite dishes. And when we say this one surprised us… we mean it. The Beer Cheese Dip took first place among the appetizers — and that IPA Mornay sauce with those warm pretzels was dangerously good. The New York Steak Salad dominated the entrée vote, and dessert turned into a battle between the towering Six-Layer Godiva Chocolate Cake and the eventual winner: that ridiculously good Butter Cake. 🤤 In fact, the Butter Cake didn’t just win dessert — our Taste Buds voted it their favorite dish of the entire experience. Add in beautiful views, smoked cocktails, and the kind of desert setting that reminds you why Indian Wells is such a special place to dine, and Seven Olive gave us one hell of an evening.
