Festival Theaters Palm Springs is adding more star power to its summer programming with a series of film premieres, screenings and live conversations featuring actors, comedians and filmmakers. The expanded lineup also includes events connected to Palm Springs International ShortFest.

This week's entertainment roundup features a return to the world of Woody and Buzz in "Toy Story 5," a supernatural horror drama from Australia titled "Leviticus," and Netflix's latest thriller series, "I Will Find You." Manny the Movie Guy says all three are worth checking out, with "Toy Story 5" leading the pack.

Students at Nellie N. Kauffman Middle School learned hands-only CPR as part of Palm Springs Unified School District's effort to become a "District of Lifesavers." The training was supported by a new CPR kit donated through the American Heart Association and the Owen Foundation.
