Las Vegas A’s Stadium Takes Shape as Second Steel Truss Arch Goes Up

The Athletics’ new stadium on the Las Vegas Strip is beginning to take shape.

Construction crews installed the second steel truss arch this week, bringing the future ballpark closer to its final design.

The arches are expected to create a distinctive appearance similar to the famed Sydney Opera House in Australia.

The Las Vegas stadium is being built as the Athletics prepare to relocate from Oakland to Southern Nevada.
