Palm Springs Historic Plaza Theatre Unveils Summer Entertainment Lineup

The Palm Springs Historic Plaza Theatre is preparing for a busy summer with a diverse lineup of movies, live theater, concerts and comedy performances scheduled through the end of August.

The summer season begins tomorrow and will continue through Aug. 30 at the historic downtown venue.

Among the featured film screenings are several beloved classics, including "Jaws," "Grease" and "The Wizard of Oz." Theater officials say the movie selections are designed to appeal to audiences of all ages and celebrate some of Hollywood's most iconic productions.

The live performance schedule will also include popular stage musicals such as "42nd Street," "Footloose" and "Kinky Boots."

In addition to movies and musical theater, the venue will host a variety of concerts and comedy shows throughout the summer, providing entertainment options across multiple genres.

The Historic Plaza Theatre recently reopened following extensive renovations and has quickly become a focal point for arts and cultural events in downtown Palm Springs.

Organizers say the summer lineup reflects the theater's mission of bringing a wide range of performances and experiences to the Coachella Valley community.

Residents and visitors interested in attending performances are encouraged to review the full schedule and ticket information before making plans.

The season officially begins tomorrow and runs through Aug. 30, offering months of entertainment at one of Palm Springs' most recognizable historic landmarks.
